Ghana’s Bono Regional Director of Gender, Jocelyn Adii, urged schoolgirls to report teachers making sexual advances, calling the rise in sexual abuse at senior high schools unacceptable.
Speaking at a girls’ forum during International Girl Child Week, she emphasized protecting girls’ rights and education, stressing that relationships should wait until marriage.
The event, involving over 1,000 girls from four circuits and organized with the National Youth Authority, promoted leadership, confidence, and academic excellence.
