AT&T has agreed to a $177 million settlement over data breaches from 2019 and 2024 that exposed personal information of millions of customers, including Social Security numbers and phone records.
The breaches, linked to a vulnerability in the Snowflake cloud service and other security lapses, affected over 70 million customers in 2019 and about 100 million in 2024.
Eligible individuals can file claims via the settlement website by November 18, 2025, with potential compensation up to $5,000 for the 2019 breach and $2,500 for the 2024 incident.
Claims can be submitted online or by mail using a Class Member ID, and compensation may include cash, credit monitoring, or identity restoration services.
The settlement, approved in June 2024, does not admit fault.
