The United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades launched its 2025-26 campaign on October 29 in Fort Myers, aiming to raise $11.5 million to support over 90 local partner agencies. The kickoff event at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall featured community leaders Carolyn Rogers and Will Prather as campaign co-chairs and highlighted services including food assistance, youth programs, senior support, and crisis intervention. Attendees could purchase $15 tickets, with those donating $240 or more eligible for staycation prizes. All funds will remain in Southwest Florida to strengthen human services, continuing a legacy of raising over $243 million since 1957.
