Rajasthan's CM says India will become world’s third-largest economy, citing youth, innovation, and tech progress.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said India, currently the world’s fourth-largest economy, is on track to become the third-largest, citing its youth population, innovation, and technological progress.
Speaking at MNIT Jaipur’s convocation, he highlighted the institute’s top ranking among NITs in North India, 249 consultancy projects worth over Rs 13 crore, partnerships with defense and energy agencies, and achievements in research, inclusivity, and digitalization.
He urged students to become tech creators, emphasizing future leadership in semiconductors, AI, quantum computing, and renewable energy, while noting Rajasthan’s Startup Policy and MNIT’s digitized degree system via DigiLocker.
