Nevada launches online tool Oct. 10, 2025, letting residents report unregistered or expired-plate vehicles to boost safety.
The Nevada DMV launched an online Registration Spotter form on October 10, 2025, allowing residents to report vehicles operating without valid registration, expired plates, or illegal out-of-state plates.
The tool is intended to improve vehicle compliance and road safety by enabling the public to submit reports, which are reviewed by the DMV’s Compliance Enforcement Division and shared with local law enforcement.
It does not cover abandoned vehicles, traffic violations, stolen cars, or parking issues.
Nevada is among the first states to implement such a system.
