A missing 20-pound cat, allegedly stolen by a delivery driver, was returned after a reward and media attention.
A 20-pound Savannah/Highlander cat named Floki, missing since September 27 after being allegedly taken by a food delivery driver in West Hollywood, has been safely returned to his owner, Emir Uckardes, following media coverage and a $1,000 reward offer.
Surveillance footage showed the driver placing the microchipped cat in the trunk of a dark-colored Prius.
Uckardes believes the driver returned the cat to a police station after seeing news of the case.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating whether a crime occurred, with no charges filed yet.
The suspect’s identity remains unknown.
