The Marlborough Big Mop 2025, a festival with rides and food, will draw crowds and cause road closures from October 17 to 19.

The Marlborough Big Mop 2025 will take place on October 18, following a successful Little Mop on October 4, both organized by the Showmen's Guild of Great Britain and rooted in medieval hiring fairs. The event will feature rides, food stalls, and entertainment in the town center, drawing large crowds. Road closures will be in effect from October 17 at noon through October 19 at 8 a.m. on the High Street, Kingsbury Street south of Silverless Street, and New Road to ensure safety.
