Health Canada has recalled unbranded 15 cm laser pointer pens in green, red, and violet (models 1478, 1479, 1480) sold from January 2019 to September 2025 due to risk of permanent eye injury as Class 3B lasers. A separate advisory was issued for the Gniby LED Pointer 3-in-1 pet laser toy (ASIN B0BZTZL512) on Amazon, also classified as Class 3B, with the foreign seller unresponsive to recall requests despite the product’s removal from sale. Consumers are urged to stop using both products, return them for refund or replacement, and report incidents via Health Canada’s website.
