A former Alabama guard was arrested for trying to smuggle drugs and a phone into a prison.
A former Alabama correctional officer, Curtis Green, was arrested on October 4, 2025, for allegedly attempting to bring 68 grams of methamphetamine, 7 grams of fentanyl, and a cell phone into the Bibb County Correctional Facility.
Prison staff intercepted him before the contraband entered.
Green, who has since resigned, faces multiple charges including promoting prison contraband, drug trafficking, conspiracy, and misuse of his position.
