Wood Middle School in Rockville, Maryland, died Thursday afternoon after being struck by a Montgomery County Public Schools bus near Russett Road and Bauer Drive, shortly after school ended.
The incident occurred around 3:13 p.m. as she was riding her bicycle, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The bus, carrying students, had no injured passengers, and the driver was unharmed.
