Wuxi’s EV exports surged 31.9% in early 2025, led by Xishan district’s booming industry and global expansion.
Wuxi, Jiangsu province, is a growing center for China’s electric vehicle industry, driven by Yadea Technology Group and other top manufacturers.
In the first half of 2025, the Xishan district’s two-wheeled EV exports reached $350 million, a 31.9% year-on-year increase, with exports to India rising 102.2%.
The region hosts six of China’s top 10 EV firms and accounts for about one-third of the national market.
To support global expansion, Xishan launched 14 overseas warehouses across nine countries and over 20 production bases in Indonesia, Vietnam, and elsewhere.
