Regina approved for provincial disaster aid after severe flooding in September 2025.
Regina has applied for provincial disaster relief after a September 13 storm caused severe flooding, overwhelming the city’s stormwater system and triggering 124 service requests.
The city’s council unanimously approved the application within the 30-day deadline for Saskatchewan’s Provincial Disaster Assistance Program.
Eligible residents, landlords, small businesses, and non-profits may receive funding for repairs, cleanup, and mold remediation, with up to $240,000 per home and $500,000 for businesses.
This marks Regina’s second PDAP application since 2023.
