JSW Steel achieved a record quarterly crude steel production of 7.9 million tonnes in Q2 FY26, a 17% year-on-year increase, driven by strong performance in India and the commissioning of a second converter at JVML, raising its domestic capacity to 34.2 million tonnes annually.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 2,184 crore and EBITDA of Rs 7,576 crore, with margins expanding to 17.56%.
Despite these results, its shares declined 1.25% amid low trading volume.
