A 23-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash in Clarksville, Indiana, after his car hit a culvert.
A 23-year-old New Albany man, Daniel Lee Wade Burns, died in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening on Brown Station Way in Clarksville, Indiana, after his car struck a concrete culvert.
Emergency crews responded around 8:22 p.m., finding Burns, the sole occupant of a gray 2007 Pontiac G7, deceased at the scene.
Preliminary reports indicate the vehicle drifted across the fog line, hit a raised curb, and veered off the road before colliding head-on with the culvert.
The roadway was closed until 11 p.m. for a crash reconstruction by Indiana State Police.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
Burns’ family has been notified.
