The Vivienne, the late RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner James Lee Williams, was posthumously honored with the Inspiration Award at the 2025 Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards, accepted by his sister Chanel Williams.
The tribute included a musical performance of “Your Light Will Shine,” a charity single by drag artists written by former manager Simon Jones, with proceeds supporting the LGBTQ+ helpline Switchboard.
The award recognized the family’s advocacy through The House of The Vivienne, an organization combating addiction stigma and pushing for policy changes, including ketamine reclassification.
