A suspect, identified as 27-year-old Mason Triana, fled into a nearby home, sparking a hours-long standoff.
He was later found dead inside from a gunshot wound, with authorities unable to determine if it was self-inflicted or from the shootout.
The incident remains under investigation, and a second person was taken into custody.
Officers are in stable condition and expected to recover.
