The Hmong community in Tulsa is preparing for its annual New Year celebration, a cultural event marking the end of the harvest season since the 1980s.
This year’s two-day festival, on October 25 and 26 at the Hmong American Association of Oklahoma in Inola, will feature traditional foods, live performances, sports tournaments, and cultural activities.
Open to the public and family-friendly, it offers a chance to experience Hmong heritage through food vendors, attire, and intergenerational traditions.
Attendees are encouraged to bring cash and cards.
