Toronto’s Line 2 subway resumes pre-pandemic service with more frequent trains and added capacity starting October 12.
Starting October 12, Toronto’s Line 2 subway will restore pre-pandemic service with trains every 2 minutes and 20 seconds during peak hours, adding six new trains and boosting capacity by up to 6,000 riders.
The change, part of a broader fall expansion, responds to increased office returns and includes enhanced bus service on routes 72 Pape, 73 Royal York, and 94 Wellesley.
TTC officials say the upgrades aim to reduce crowding and improve reliability.
