In Q2 2025, major investors boosted stakes in Vanguard’s tax-exempt bond ETF, VTEB.
In the second quarter of 2025, multiple institutional investors increased their stakes in the Vanguard Tax-Exempt Bond ETF (VTEB), including Winthrop Advisory Group LLC, which raised its holding by 12.2%, and Lansing Street Advisors, which increased its position by 228%. Proffitt & Goodson Inc. reduced its stake by 3,146 shares to 33,737, while Clifton Larson Allen Wealth Advisors LLC and Naples Global Advisors LLC also added shares. VTEB, which tracks investment-grade municipal bonds and offers federal tax-exempt interest, traded around $50.07 with a 52-week range of $47.02 to $51.09 and moving averages of $49.40 and $49.04. The ETF, launched in August 2015 and managed by Vanguard, remains a popular choice for tax-advantaged fixed-income income.
