Presidential Adviser Lin Hsin-i has been reappointed as Taiwan’s envoy to the 2025 APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Gyeongju, South Korea, marking his second consecutive year in the role.
The Presidential Office cited his extensive experience in government and industry, including prior APEC representation in 2005 and 2024, as key reasons for the appointment.
He will represent Taiwan’s interests during discussions on AI, digital governance, and demographic challenges, aligning with President Lai’s “AI island” and “Healthy Taiwan” initiatives.
The summit, set for October 31 to November 1, brings together leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region.
