A 76-year-old Polish woman, Barbara Domanska, died October 6, 2025, in a crash on Interstate 55 in Grenada County, Mississippi, after a 2016 Kia Soul veered off the road and struck a tree near the 214-mile marker. She was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later pronounced dead. The 79-year-old driver, Barbara Cudak, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at Oxford Baptist Memorial Hospital. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, with no further details released.
