India and Uzbekistan launch first joint MBBS program with NMC, WHO, and ECFMG recognition.
GSL Medical Institutions in India has partnered with Uzbekistan’s Impuls Medical Institute to launch an NMC-compliant MBBS program, the first India-Uzbekistan medical education collaboration.
The English-language program follows the Indian MBBS curriculum—54 months of study and a 12-month paid internship—with cadaveric dissections, dual clinical exposure, and training for FMGE/NExT, USMLE, and UKMLE exams.
Offered in Tashkent and Namangan, it includes a $100 monthly stipend and is designed to meet FMGL regulations, ensuring eligibility for medical registration in India, the U.S., and the U.K.
The curriculum aligns with ECTS and CBME standards, and the institute is recognized by Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Education, WHO, and ECFMG.
