Delhi Raiders won the 2025 Norfolk County Fair Young Canada Day championship, ending an 11-year streak by their rivals.

The Delhi Raiders from Delhi District Secondary School won the overall championship at the 2025 Norfolk County Fair’s Young Canada Day events on October 7, ending an 11-year streak by reclaiming the title after a two-year drought. Their victory was fueled by wins in boys’ tug of war and special effects, along with a second-place finish in homecraft. Key individual achievements included Morgan Kingsbury winning the boys’ road race and Valley Heights’ Amilya King securing her third consecutive girls’ title. The event, held in Simcoe under rainy conditions, featured youth competitions in cheerleading, livestock and poultry shows, and midway activities, highlighting community engagement across Norfolk County.
