Chad cuts ties with African Parks over misconduct, poaching, and funding issues, ending management of key reserves.
Chad has ended its 15-year partnership with African Parks, a conservation group linked to Prince Harry, citing disrespectful behavior, rising poaching, and inadequate investment in key wildlife reserves.
The decision, effective immediately, terminates management of the Ennedi Reserve and Greater Zakouma Ecosystem.
African Parks said it is in talks with the government to address concerns and continue conservation work.
The move follows allegations of human rights abuses by park guards in the Republic of the Congo and Harry’s recent resignation from Sentebale amid workplace misconduct claims.
