On October 8, 2025, in Game 3 of the ALDS, Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh hit his 61st home run of the season, a 391-foot shot into the left-center bullpen at Comerica Park.
The ball was caught by fan Jameson Turner of Longview, Washington, who was wearing a “Dump 61 Here” shirt referencing Raleigh’s nickname “Big Dumper.” After catching the ball on a bounce, Turner revealed a second shirt reading “Dump 62 Here,” sparking cheers and going viral.
The home run helped the Mariners secure an 8-4 victory over the Tigers, taking a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series.
Turner was later invited to meet Raleigh and received a signed bat.
The game, delayed by rain and broadcast on FS2 and MLB Network, highlighted a growing fan tradition tied to Raleigh’s home run milestones.
