A 20-year-old from Camden, after a life-threatening illness and liver transplant, earned top grades and will attend University College London, thanks to hospice support.
Nasif Hussain, a 20-year-old from Camden, will begin studying at University College London after overcoming a life-threatening neuro-intestinal condition that required a liver transplant.
Initially told to stop his GCSE studies due to health issues, he was supported by Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, which helped him continue his education.
He went on to pass 13 GCSEs and three A-levels.
His story is being shared during National Hospice Week to show that hospice care supports not only medical needs but also emotional, social, and educational well-being for children with life-limiting illnesses.
