Yasmin Clydsdale named 2025 NRLW Player of the Year for her captaincy and standout performance.

Newcastle Knights' Yasmin Clydsdale was named player of the year for the 2025 NRLW season, honoring her leadership and consistent performance as captain, including every minute of all 13 games, two tries, and averages of 140 run-metres and 25 tackles per game. She also won the Knight in Shining Armour award and was recognized for her role in the team’s third-place regular season finish and finals run, which ended in a 30-6 loss to Brisbane in the preliminary final. Halfback Jesse Southwell earned players’ player honors, winger Sheridan Gallagher took Gladiator of the year, and forwards Sienna Yeo and Jules Kirkpatrick shared rookie of the year. Kayla Romaniuk won community player of the year for the third consecutive season. Several players, including Clydsdale and Southwell, earned representative honors with Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, and the Prime Minister’s XIII.
