Ukrainian fund acquires majority stake in Romania's Lensa optics chain.
Ukrainian investment fund OH Holding Limited, with legal support from Filip & Company, acquired a majority stake in the operator of Lensa, one of Romania’s largest optics and optometry networks, marking a key foreign investment in the country’s healthcare and retail sectors.
The deal reflects continued international interest in Romania despite a revised 2025 growth forecast of 0.4% by the World Bank.
Meanwhile, Romania’s asset management industry surpassed one million investors, and other developments included a green eurobonds issuance by NEPI Rockcastle, a new music academy headquarters, and a French company appointing a new plant manager in Ploiești.
