Robosys Automation has won a contract to retrofit a 26-meter Damen 2610 Fast Crew Supplier vessel with its VOYAGER AI autonomy system, marking the second such retrofit for a crew transfer vessel.
The 2015-built vessel, classified by Lloyd’s Register and powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, will gain remote control, autonomous navigation, and COLREGS-compliant collision avoidance using Electronic Navigation Charts.
