Philippines wins top spot at WorldSkills ASEAN 2025, earning 10 gold medals and hosting the event for the first time in 29 years.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. honored Filipino medalists from the 14th WorldSkills ASEAN 2025 in Manila, awarding cash incentives ranging from PHP50,000 to PHP100,000.
The Philippines topped the competition with 10 gold, 7 silver, 8 bronze, and 5 excellence medallions across 32 skill categories, including advanced fields like cybersecurity and robotics.
The event, held from August 25 to 30, marked the first time in 29 years the Philippines hosted the regional competition, showcasing the nation’s growing technical and vocational excellence.
