A London man sentenced to 14 years for sex crimes against two children in Norfolk, had previously been on the sex offenders register.

Timothy Harris, 46, of east London, was sentenced to 14 years in prison plus four years on licence for multiple sexual offences against two children in Norfolk. He had previously been on the sex offenders register since 2016 after raping a homeless teenager and failed to notify police of his move to Norfolk after serving a three-year sentence. Arrested in December 2024, he was convicted at Norwich Crown Court on September 26 of breaching notification rules, engaging in sexual activity in front of a child under 13, and four counts of touching a child under 13. Authorities credited the victims’ bravery for enabling the case, and Norfolk Police reiterated their commitment to holding predatory offenders accountable.
