Kazakhstan to boost oil exports to Germany from 100K to 130K tons monthly starting 2026.
Kazakhstan will increase oil exports to Germany starting in 2026, raising monthly shipments from 100,000 to 130,000 tons under an extended agreement between KazMunayGas and Rosneft Deutschland.
The oil will be delivered to the Schwedt refinery, Germany’s fourth-largest, which supplies most of Berlin’s fuel.
Shipments from Kazakhstan’s Karachaganak, Kashagan, and Tengizchevroil fields have already totaled about 1.5 million tons to Germany in the first nine months of 2025.
The expansion supports Germany’s efforts to diversify energy sources after ending Russian crude imports.
