India's Supreme Court rejected an Israeli man's paternity claim for two Russian girls found in a cave, calling it frivolous and ordering their repatriation to Russia.
The Indian Supreme Court dismissed a paternity claim by Israeli national Dror Shalom Goldstein, who said he was the father of two Russian girls found living in a cave in Karnataka in July 2025.
The court called the petition “totally frivolous,” questioned Goldstein’s absence during the family’s time in the cave, and demanded proof of paternity.
It criticized the use of India’s legal system for publicity and expressed concern over undocumented foreign nationals.
The children and their mother, a Russian woman who overstayed her visa, were repatriated to Russia with emergency travel documents.
