Galway Metals hit strong gold grades, including a record 88-meter interval, at its New Brunswick project, with visible gold and more results pending.
Galway Metals reported significant gold intersections at its Clarence Stream project in New Brunswick, including the thickest continuous gold interval to date: 1.1 g/t over 88.0 meters in drill hole CL-232, with higher-grade segments and visible gold observed.
Another hole, CL-230, returned multiple high-grade intervals within 100 meters of the surface.
These results are part of an ongoing drill program to expand and upgrade the mineral resource within open-pit shells, with additional assays pending and visible gold confirmed in several other holes.
The project has a 2022 resource estimate of 12.4 million tonnes at 2.3 g/t gold (922,000 ounces indicated) and 16.0 million tonnes at 2.6 g/t gold (1.334 million ounces inferred).
The company received up to $50,000 in support from New Brunswick’s Junior Mining Assistance Program for 2025 exploration.
