Four Mississauga residents were arrested in Oakville on October 1, 2025, in connection with a suspected organized retail theft ring that stole over $85,000 in liquor and merchandise from LCBO and other stores since May.
The suspects, aged 33 to 48, faced multiple charges including theft, possession of stolen goods, and breach of release conditions, with police also seizing drugs including cocaine, MDMA, and hydromorphone.
All were already under court-ordered supervision for prior theft offenses.
The investigation, led by Halton Regional Police and the LCBO’s Resource Protection Unit, involved 54 incidents across the Greater Toronto Area.
Authorities warn such crimes drive up prices and endanger public safety.
