Delhi police arrested four suspects in a Punjabi Bagh house theft, recovering 156 grams of gold and ₹9.96 lakh in cash. The case, reported September 26, was solved using footage from 1,260 CCTV cameras, tracing suspects from a Ring Road CNG pump to Jahangirpuri. The main accused, Jai Prakash, implicated accomplices Bigan Sah and Jairam Sah, while a jeweller who bought the gold was also arrested. Police said the suspects were motivated by gambling and planned to use stolen funds for gambling and luxury spending. In a separate incident, a wanted criminal, Bhim Mahabahadur Jora, was neutralized in an armed encounter near East of Kailash on October 6–7 following a tip-off, with investigations ongoing into his network.
