Children’s National Hospital ranks among top U.S. pediatric hospitals for ninth year, excelling in multiple specialties and behavioral health.
Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., has been named to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025-26 Honor Roll for the ninth straight year, ranking in all 10 pediatric specialties, with top 10 national rankings in neurology and neurosurgery, cancer, nephrology, orthopedics, and diabetes and endocrinology.
It is also among the top 50 pediatric behavioral health programs for the second year.
The rankings, based on quality, outcomes, and expert input, highlight the hospital’s sustained excellence in pediatric care, research, and advocacy.
UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in Oakland and San Francisco were also recognized, ranking in all 11 specialties, with several in the top 20 nationally.
The annual rankings evaluate 118 hospitals and include a new focus on pediatric behavioral health.
