Seat-sharing within the Mahagathbandhan alliance for Bihar’s Assembly elections has been finalized, with a press conference scheduled for October 8 to reveal details.
VIP President Mukesh Sahni said the alliance, including RJD, Congress, and left parties, is focused on defeating the BJP after a three-and-a-half-year effort following the party’s ousting in 2021.
The elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, with vote counting on November 14.
The final voter list stands at 7.42 crore, down from 7.89 crore, after 65 lakh were removed.
The Congress Central Election Committee will meet on October 8 to finalize candidates, with top leaders participating virtually.
