Arvind Kejriwal given new Delhi government bungalow after court-ordered delay.
Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi CM and AAP national convenor, has been allotted a Type VII government bungalow at 95 Lodhi Estate in New Delhi, following a Delhi High Court directive criticizing delays in providing official residence.
The move resolves months of uncertainty after he vacated his previous home at 6 Flagstaff Road in October 2024.
The bungalow, about 5,000 square feet with four bedrooms and office space, is intended for national party leaders.
The central government had promised accommodation within 10 days, as per protocol.
Kejriwal had previously stayed temporarily with party leader Ashok Mittal.
The former residence at 6 Flagstaff Road is set to be converted into a public guest house with a cafeteria.
