AdventHealth names Daniel Tryon as new CEO for its North Carolina hospitals, effective October 6, 2025.
AdventHealth has named Daniel Tryon as president and CEO of its Hendersonville and Polk locations in North Carolina, succeeding Brandon Nudd, who will lead AdventHealth Waterman in Florida.
Tryon, with over 15 years of healthcare leadership experience, most recently led multiple hospitals at Kettering Health in Ohio, focusing on improving care quality, expanding specialty services, and increasing access through outpatient centers and rural health clinics.
The change, effective October 6, 2025, reflects AdventHealth’s strategy to strengthen operations.
In Houston, Elizabeth Ortega has been named president of St. Luke’s Health – The Vintage Hospital, effective October 13, replacing Mario Garner.
Ortega, formerly a top executive at HCA Healthcare, will focus on growth and patient care at the hospital, part of CommonSpirit Health.
Meanwhile, Jim Paradis has been appointed president of Riddle Hospital in Pennsylvania, succeeding Shelly Buck, and will lead Main Line Health’s Transformation 2035 initiative.
Paradis, a 20-year veteran of the health system, brings extensive leadership experience across multiple facilities.
