A historic wing of St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London, the UK’s oldest working hospital, is opening to the public for the first time in 300 years after a £9.5 million restoration. The Grade I listed North Wing, built in 1732, features a Great Hall and grand staircase adorned with William Hogarth paintings, including The Pool of Bethesda and The Good Samaritan.
