Bob Fenoff, a 67-year-old Vermont man, survived a sudden cardiac arrest in August after collapsing at work in an office connected to a VTRANS garage.
Two Vermont transportation agency employees, Noah Royer and John McClure, immediately performed CPR using skills from mandatory workplace training, called 911, and helped keep him alive until paramedics arrived and used a defibrillator.
Fenoff spent two weeks in a coma but is now expected to make a full recovery.
He and his wife expressed deep gratitude, and first responders emphasized the lifesaving importance of CPR and AED training, urging more people to become certified.
