Twenty-year-old Trenton Devos from Luxemburg, Wisconsin, is recovering from transverse myelitis and MOGAD, rare autoimmune conditions that caused paralysis from the chest down after a sudden illness in late 2024. After being airlifted to Milwaukee and undergoing intensive rehab at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, he has regained the ability to walk but still lacks sensation below the chest. A community fundraiser at Green Bay Distillery helped offset his ongoing medical costs, and Trenton, supported by family and faith, is now working with researchers to raise awareness about his conditions.
