Tulsa SPCA waives fees to adopt its last four pets, aiming for zero shelter animals by Sunday.
The Tulsa SPCA is waiving adoption fees through Sunday to help find homes for its final four cats and dogs, offering welcome kits to new adopters.
The shelter has reduced its animal population from about 36 to four since Friday, aiming to reach zero by the event’s end.
Volunteers emphasize that adoptions free up space for other animals, a critical need amid ongoing challenges from the post-pandemic pet boom.
The shelter opens at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, and those unable to adopt are encouraged to volunteer.
Tulsa Animal Services is also currently offering waived adoption fees.
