Reported at 9:10 AM, the blaze triggered alarms but caused no injuries or fatalities. The Ahmedabad Fire Brigade responded with three tenders, contained the fire quickly, and prevented spread due to the laundry unit’s separation from the main building. Operations continued unaffected after a brief 30-minute restriction on movement and power cut to the area. Fire and electrical teams are investigating the cause, following a similar minor fire at a city hospital the previous day.
