British para-athlete Luke Nuttall finished fourth in the men’s 1500m at the World Championships, missing a medal by narrow margins.
Luke Nuttall, a 24-year-old T46 British athlete, finished fourth in the men’s 1500m at the World Championships in New Delhi, posting a season’s best time of 3:57.49 despite extreme heat and humidity.
He narrowly missed a medal behind Russia’s Aleksandr Iaremchuk, France’s Antoine Praud, and Sri Lanka’s Pradeep Puwakpitikande, who won bronze.
Nuttall, a two-time European medallist and sixth-place finisher at the Paris Paralympics, expressed pride in his performance and is now focusing on winter training, including cross-country races, ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics.
He is one of over 30 British athletes supported by sponsor Novuna.
