A Halloween costume exchange returned to a Ontario library, offering free outfits to families.
A free Halloween costume exchange returned to the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library in Sault Ste.
Marie, Ont., on October 4, 2025, marking its comeback after several years.
Organized by children’s services coordinator Kaylee Hunter, the event allowed families to take costumes at no cost, including a purple wig made by 8-year-old Ryan Ritchie for a Star Wars-themed outfit.
Additional costumes were available the following weekend in the children’s department, supporting community engagement and affordable holiday fun.
