Delhi-NCR saw a 24% year-on-year surge in housing prices during July-September 2025, reaching ₹8,900 per square foot, the highest among India’s seven major cities, according to Anarock.
The rise, driven by strong demand for luxury homes and infrastructure projects like the Dwarka Expressway and UER 2, contributed to a 9% national average increase to ₹9,105 per sq ft. Mumbai remained the most expensive market at ₹17,230 per sq ft, while buyer preferences for planned communities and lifestyle amenities supported growth.
Despite strong demand, price increases showed signs of moderation, with quarterly growth slowing to 1-3%, suggesting a potential slowdown.
