An 18-year-old motorcyclist, Rohit Pal, died in a collision with a fire tender responding to a drowning emergency in Delhi’s Sonia Vihar on October 4, 2025, near Pusta Road. The fire tender swerved to avoid the speeding motorcyclist, hit a wall, and sustained damage. Despite being rushed to hospital, Pal was pronounced dead. Police have filed a case under Sections 279 and 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. In a separate incident, Delhi Police rescued a seven-year-old boy abducted from Vikas Puri, arresting four suspects including his mother’s former partner; the child was found at a farmhouse in Hansi, Haryana.
