WarHorse Gaming, Nebraska’s largest casino operator, has secured a $300 million refinancing deal to begin construction next summer on a new casino in South Sioux City and expand its Omaha and Lincoln locations.
The funding, backed by major banks, will support new gaming areas, restaurants, and entertainment spaces, with the Lincoln expansion set to open in spring 2026.
The company reported $94.8 million in gaming revenue through August and paid $22.5 million in gaming taxes, which fund property tax relief.
WarHorse, owned by Ho-Chunk, Inc., continues to grow following Nebraska’s 2020 casino legalization at racetracks.
